The Clouds and Ladders' Sandia Colorway was inspired by seeing the Sandia ("watermelon" in Spanish) mountains at sunset when I lived in New Mexico. As the name suggests, they turn pink! The golden sun reflects off of the windows on the hillside, and the whole view is a gorgeous sight to see.
The Comet Earring Jackets worn by the model in picture 2 are sold separately HERE. The jackets are a separate piece which allows for versatility: You can wear the earrings with/without jackets; wear the jackets with other earrings, or even place them behind or in front of your ear.
These are very lightweight and weigh less than a nickel.
Size:
3/4" diameter
Materials:
Soldered brass filled with hand-mixed, artists' grade polymer clay. Each earring has a surgical steel post (nickel-free) and a drop of resin on the back to prevent metal touching the ears of people with sensitive skin.
Clouds and Ladders jewelry is handmade in Kate Joseph's studio set in a redwood forest north of San Francisco. Each piece may show differences in color or texture, which should be considered a part of what makes owning a piece of handmade jewelry special and unique. Due to the handmade process and filling all orders on a first-come, first-served basis, some orders may take 2-3 weeks.
