These cheerful tomato earrings bring a bright, playful fruit shape to your look. Their rounded form can also read as a little apple.

I worked with the buyer for the Philadelphia Museum of Art to create a unique collection of Clouds + Ladders Jewelry to correspond with their Matisse exhibit. These Tomatoes (or Apples, depending on who asks!) coordinate with his bright and cheerful still life paintings that often included fruit and flowers.

Clouds + Ladders jewelry is handmade in Kate Joseph's studio set in a redwood forest north of San Francisco. Each piece may show differences in color or texture, which should be considered a part of what makes owning a piece of handmade jewelry special and unique.

Clouds + Ladders uses handmade brass and cast bronze frames filled with artists’ grade polymer clay. See each product’s description and specifications for its materials.
Remove your jewelry before using any perfume, lotion, hair products, etc.

Store your jewelry in a closed container with an anti-tarnish square. The anti-tarnish square should be replaced every 3-4 months - you can reuse the desiccant packs that are found in new shoes, dried fruit, etc.

Brass naturally darkens as it ages. By following the above recommendations, you’ll keep it looking shinier for longer. While many people prefer the aged look, if you want to restore the original luster, use a polishing cloth to shine the metal parts.

If you notice residue on the colorful areas, you can clean them with a small amount of nail polish remover on a q-tip or cotton ball.
