Inspired by color palettes and modern design, this pendant combines vibrant inlays, warm brass, and open negative space to create a look that's playful, sophisticated, and unlike anything you'll find in a typical jewelry store.
 
The handmade pendant measures 2 1/2" by 1/2". No worries about your necklace flipping over and showing an ugly back, the color shows on both sides! 
 
These are very lightweight, each weighs about the same as 2 quarters. Comes on an 18" gold filled chain.

    • Clouds + Ladders jewelry is handmade in Kate Joseph's solar-powered studio in a redwood forest north of San Francisco. Each piece may show differences in color or texture, which should be considered a part of what makes owning a piece of handmade jewelry special and unique.     Due to the handmade nature of Clouds + Ladders Jewelry, most issues are resolved by exchanging for a different item or providing a store credit. Please use the Contact page if you have any questions or concerns, and someone will respond ASAP.

    Handmade brass and cast bronze frames filled with artists' grade polymer clay. Surgical steel/nickel -free posts. Each earring has a drop of resin on the back to prevent metal touching the ears of people with sensitive skin.

    Remove your jewelry before using any perfume, lotion, hair products, etc. Store your jewelry in a closed container with an anti-tarnish square. The anti-tarnish square should be replaced every 3-4 months - you can reuse the desiccant packs that are found in new shoes, dried fruit, etc. Brass naturally darkens as it ages. By following the above recommendations, you’ll keep it looking shinier for longer. While many people prefer the aged look, if you want to restore the original luster, use a polishing cloth to shine the metal parts.  If you notice residue on the colorful areas, you can clean them with a small amount of nail polish remover on a q-tip or cotton ball.
