Remove your jewelry before using any perfume, lotion, hair products, etc. Store your jewelry in a closed container with an anti-tarnish square. The anti-tarnish square should be replaced every 3-4 months - you can reuse the desiccant packs that are found in new shoes, dried fruit, etc. Brass naturally darkens as it ages. By following the above recommendations, you’ll keep it looking shinier for longer. While many people prefer the aged look, if you want to restore the original luster, use a polishing cloth to shine the metal parts.  If you notice residue on the colorful areas, you can clean them with a small amount of nail polish remover on a q-tip or cotton ball. Jewelry care kits are available for purchase HERE.
