Pivot Earrings
The Pivot Earrings bring two bold colors and warm brass together in a graphic shape that sits sideways on the ear. Color is visible on both sides.
Size and feel: Each earring is 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches long, and weighs slightly more than a house key. The posts are sterling silver (different from the surgical steel posts on most other Clouds + Ladders earrings).
Created for the opening of the Vladem Contemporary Museum of Art, the design turns its logo into an abstract composition. Rotate one semicircle and the hidden letters V C M A appear. Explore the museum inspiration.

Due to the handmade nature of Clouds + Ladders Jewelry, most issues are resolved by exchanging for a different item or providing a store credit. Please use the Contact page if you have any questions or concerns, and someone will respond ASAP.

Handmade brass and cast bronze frames filled with artists' grade polymer clay. Surgical steel/nickel -free posts. Each earring has a drop of resin on the back to prevent metal touching the ears of people with sensitive skin.

Remove your jewelry before using any perfume, lotion, hair products, etc. Store your jewelry in a closed container with an anti-tarnish square. The anti-tarnish square should be replaced every 3-4 months - you can reuse the desiccant packs that are found in new shoes, dried fruit, etc. Brass naturally darkens as it ages. By following the above recommendations, you’ll keep it looking shinier for longer. While many people prefer the aged look, if you want to restore the original luster, use a polishing cloth to shine the metal parts.  If you notice residue on the colorful areas, you can clean them with a small amount of nail polish remover on a q-tip or cotton ball.
