Inspired by Ruth Asawa’s iconic looped wire sculptures, this pendant translates her suspended forms into a wearable meditation on space, structure, and light. Concentric arcs in layered blue—ranging from sky to deep indigo—nest inside a cast bronze frame, echoing the rhythm and repetition of Asawa’s hanging works. The C+L Asawa Collection was created to accompany the Ruth Asawa Retrospective at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and only a limited number will be available outside of the SFMOMA Museum Store.
 
The hand inlaid colors show through on both front and back of the pendant.
